Why did I join?
Geoff Smith

Hi
I joined bandbowner.com almost when they first kicked off. It was pretty much an impulse thing but I liked the way the free pages read and there was a promise of useable tools and strategies which I could adopt and adapt for my business. I can honestly say I've never looked back. Let me give you a couple of examples.

Repeat business is vital to me as I think it should be to you, unless of course you operate next door to a airport! So the articles in the marketing section of the site such as the one on Lifetime Customer Value are great value. They inform, they make the picture clear, they don't use 'jargon' and I can make a knowledge based decision for my business.

I use the discussion forum when I have an issue I need to air. A couple of times its given a new perspective on the issue I'm thinking about and a few times its confirmed my own thoughts, which actually is itself a considerable benefit.

The guys at bandbowner.com have also saved me money and I like anybody that does that for me.  I was pre-warned, via the site, about a clever scam doing the rounds so when it arrived with me I knew enough to recognise and ignore it.  I have also used the Break Even Point Calculator to give me an idea what will happen when I change my prices or if I decide to close for a month! (I should be so lucky)

I wont mention the VAT savings, I actually still can't believe them!!

So what's the real benefit of Membership of bandbowner.com for me?

I like running my own business, as I'm sure you do yours, but sometimes I seem to get lost in red tape, sometimes I need to find another way of bringing in more business, sometimes I need to talk things through with someone in the 'know' who isn't as involved with my business as I am and hey, guess what? Bandbowner.com does all this and more for me.

I'm part of a community which I can dip into when I like. I can have my say when I get excited or there is a topic I know about and I can repay help that others have given to me by helping other Members when I can.

I suppose its like being part of an extended family really. Daft? Possibly but very rewarding with a huge comfort factor and a tangible financial benefit as well. I like it and I recommend it to you.
