Magic of Hogwarts comes to Helmsley
Harry Potter fans are in for a treat this summer at the Carlton
Lodge in Helmsley, North Yorkshire, as each guest will be given
a first edition copy of Harry Potter & The Order Of The Phoenix.
"I can't think of a better way to catch up on the Harry Potter
series than to sit back, relax and enjoy being pampered with a
sumptuous breakfast and the occasional walk to rest your eyes!"
Said Chris Parkin, proprietor of the Silver Award, 4 star
accommodation.
Reading has always been part of the British B&B experience,
with guests having free access to a weird and wonderful
assortment of magazines, digests, softbacks and hardbacks.
As well as various board games and the ever popular 'Ker-Plunk',
push-button, fuzzy and the 14" black & white televisions to entertain
when the weather takes a turn for the worse.
These days it's games consoles, iPods, mobile phones and DVDs
that keeps guests busy and distracted, but the Potter phenomenon
cuts across all ages.
Even younger guests are happy to put aside their electronic
gadgetry and sit back to enjoy the continuing saga of Harry
and his friends.
"What better break can you hope for, than to leave behind the
stress of work, enjoying the calm surroundings of the North
Yorkshire Moors and escaping into the fantasy world of wizards
and muggles?" Asks Chris, who will be doing all the washing up!
Guests who want a free edition copy of: "Harry Potter and
The Order Of The Phoenix", should call Chris or Margaret
Parkin on 01439 770557 and make a reservation to stay anytime
between the 20th July and the 16th September 2005.
Or book on-line at www.carlton-lodge.com.
Their copy will be awaiting them on their pillow.
