Now, everyone knew this book was going to be a success, but how do we capture the press interest and point them towards our Accomodation Businesses?
Well, we did some scouring and found some copies of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - for less than half retail !
This is the fifth book in the series and precedes the Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince. It too was a smash hit, but as the new book came to press, retailers wanted to clear out stocks of the earleir editions.
We turned their lemons into Publicity Lemonade!
This gave us something to work with and using the B&B Press Release Generator, it was easy to knock-up a perfect press release!

We wil save some stock to repeat the exercise in December.. as the Film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is due out then.
Remember, our aim isn't to sell extra acommodation per-se.
It's to raise our profile, get coverage and establish a reputation.
In fact to be blessed by the 'Halo Effect'!
People looking to book acommodation or buy anything will tend to be influenced by recommendation, typically called "Word Of Mouth".
There's no greater recommendation than that of a newspaper or magazine to influence prospective guests.
